    1. Configurable API Keys

      Let players create custom API keys, which only reveal selected details, e.g., wallet transactions, but not alliance's standings. Not just the current "all or nothing" API keys.

      • Implement Modular POSes (a la Dead Horse)

        To put it simply, the current POS system is Butt-ugly, lagtacular, overpowered, underpowered, and completely, totally whacky, and fails to live up to the expectations of those who wish to see them for the first time.

        This proposal at the very least aims to solve the first and last two issues, whilst providing a way for those who do not have 30 billion to blow on a station to get a suitable level of infrastructure for new 0.0 operations.

        • Stars cause damage when approached

          Stars are massive nuclear fusion engines that output some serious radiation, far more than most weapons. If I approach a star from the warp-in point, make my ship take some damage once I move 20, 50, or 100km closer.

          Increase the damage as I get closer. Make it Thermal and maybe Electromagnetic?

            For instance, if you hide your ship (frigate) right next to an asteroid twice the size of your ship, directional scans wont be able to put up your signature due to the presence of other mass.

              i think it to be odd and lame that, say, you are on one side of a station and a player on the opposite side can fire through it to hit you. i think it would be better it things like other ships, asteroids, stations and whatnot blocked volleys.... make PVP more interesting and, i think, better, in terms of strategy.

              • Prevent Players from Warping Through Objects

                It's extremely disruptive of immersion when warp enables you to fly through objects, especially planets. No matter what sci-fi universe you live in, colliding with a spacial object while traveling at FTL speeds results in catastrophic disaster.

                Apply an arc to the warp paths, or drop pilots out of warp and re-align them at an automatically calculated position (creating new spots for bubbles and tackles? yes please!).

                • Make Destroyers Better

                  Destroyers suck. They take the damage of a cruiser while basically being a frigate. Their CPU, power and cap are extremely low... hte only thing going for them is DPS, but that doesnt matter when you get blown away really easily. So, a pirate version is needed. Either that, if this is too much to ask, or make one that has higher cargo and salvaging bonuses.... seeing as that is all they are used for anyways.

                    The corp tax currently only applies to bounties and mission rewards... it should extend to all income for the corporation's members, including specifically item sales.

                      • Double click on wrecks to loot them.

                        If you are within looting distance of a wreck or can you should be able to double click on it in the overview and automatically loot everything inside. This will decrease considerable the number of clicks it takes to loot wrecks, especially when there are a large number of them to be looted.

                              Wouldn't that be more... real? If you could be inside of a titan, freighter, mothership or carrier and go with them through a jump? That would make a ton more sense than just youe ship going, unpackaged, and you have to meet it with you capsule.

                                If you reconfigure Tranquility as a grid server, you should be able to dynamically scale resources and dedicate them to whatever "solar systems" (currently configured as "Nodes" containing multiple systems...) need them the most.

                                        Generic damage calculations are so 2003. Let's add some flavor to the damage system in EVE. Re-balance these as you see fit, but:

                                        Thermal Weapons should cause heat damage to highslot items on the target.

                                        Electromagnetic Weapons should give a 0.5% chance to break the target's lock.

                                        Kinetic weapons should receive a damage boost as per their mass and impact velocity.

                                        Explosive Weapons should knock ships off course in proportion to their mass, velocity, and the target's mass and velocity.
